  1. In other sports, if you cheat you're disqualified. Should they have fined Ben Johnson in '88 and let him keep his gold medal? No. Kick the cheats out. Ban divers for 6 matches each. Give us our game back. City are buying up all the trophies which means there's none left for other clubs to win. We are becoming like Ligue 1. Managers get sacked for not winning trophies when there's none left to win. It's a joke. Remember when Wigan, Portsmouth, Oxford, Southampton, Sunderland, QPR, Swindon could win an FA Cup or League Cup? That's REAL football.

  2. It's so sad that People don't get FFP It's meant to help all clubs. Bankrolling often involves injecting vast sums of money into a club without a sustainable financial model. This can lead to reckless spending on exorbitant transfer fees, high player salaries, and lavish facilities. Clubs may accumulate excessive debt and struggle to maintain their financial stability in the long run. The club may face severe financial difficulties or even bankruptcy if the financial backing is suddenly withdrawn.

Look at Malaga CF who have been relegated to third-tier Spain league this season experienced significant financial instability after being bankrolled by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family. The club succeeded, including reaching the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals in 2013. However, financial mismanagement and a lack of sustainable funding led to financial difficulties, unpaid player wages, and the club's subsequent decline.

Portsmouth FC now in EFL Ligue 1: Portsmouth FC, experienced financial mismanagement and overspending, which led to their decline. The club went into administration twice, in 2010 and 2012, and faced numerous financial difficulties.

Bolton Wanderers FC now in EFL Ligue 1:: Bolton Wanderers FC, after reckless spending encountered financial difficulties and entered administration in 2019.

Most Club with rich History after being bankrolled by their previous owner have suffered Relegation

  3. Man City, their current owners and management are a stain on English football that will take a very long time to remove, the cheating has been blatant yet they continue. If they manage to escape punishment then the FFP system should be scrapped as it actually only applies to the smaller poorer clubs .

  4. In the US, professional team sports have cumulative salary caps. In the past, the wealthiest owners have been able to buy up the players from around the league to build a championship team. Teams with less money to spend had to develop players with brilliant coaches (like Pep Guardiola) to win championships. Evidently, European Professional Football have the same problem except the money seem to be coming in from fossil fuel rich Emirates or Kingdoms where the local Emirs (Kings) can use their country's oil profits to buy the best team. Still there is no proof that Man City have done anything wrong, so we should give Man City the benefit of the doubt. But there should be an investigatory body that tries to maintain some type of standard to be fair play. That is what has given Western Europe its highly developed nations with its high standard of living. There needs to be transparency where the ownership of each team present accurate and honest accounting. The same way democratic republican governments divides the power to rule and check themselves. These fossil fuel producing nations are only wealthy because the truly industrially developed nations of the US and Western Europe use fossil fuel to drive world trade. So I hope everyone respect the rule of law including those who come from places with rule of aristocracy. Most important let us not condemn Man City without proof in a court of law. Let Pep and the Boyz do their thing and may the best team win.

  5. FA or EPL will not punish them because if they do that, EPL would lost their credibility, a lot sponsors and their money would fly to other league, the competition lost the interest, see what happened with Serie-A after Calciopoli scandal.

  6. Oooh wow a billionaire managed to sweep some charges under the carpet, a legit justice system doesn't have loopholes for the rich to take advantage of a justice system is just and what man city have been doing is far from that

  7. It sickness me that everyone knows city have cheated to get where they are.
That's why uefa have fined them twice and the 1st time they had a smaller squad in the champions league.
You got Liverpool and other club's living by the rules and being laughed at by club's who cheat.
It's obvious football is full of corruption because nobody will do what needs to be done and that is city stripped of everything and kicked down to league 2 that's the proper punishment.
It's what happens in any other sport but you can bet the like of city are paying people off to stop this happening
