The premier league is an exciting league and is has entertainment, but given Manchester City's recent dominance if they win the premier league again next season that means that they would have 6 titles in 7 years including 4 titles in a row and since they're above every club in the league, shouldn't that be a cause of concern for the rest of the league. We continue to talk about premier league being the toughest league in the world but guess what Manchester City have won 5 league titles in 6 years and are just coming off the back of a treble and the league titles have been decided on the last day and it's been closer than expected but that's still domination and at this rate, you can argue that the premier league is becoming a farmers' league because any team that dominates the league, you'll call it a farmers' league and no team can compete with Manchester City and that's a concern for the rest of the league. Yes, there's excitement and twists and turns, it's a great league but when you look at this from a longevity perspective, you don't wanna see Manchester City win it all every season, you don't want to see the same team winning the league every year, hence why fans start farmers' league analogies because it seems like every season, we know the team who'll be in the title race and the exact same teams fighting for top 4 and from the neutrals you wanna see a change at the top, a different winner, because it's great to see that instead of Manchester City being too superior to the rest of the league 5 titles in 6 years isn't a good look for the rest of the premier league and they're just too good and will most likely win the premier league again.
