  1. Well it's his last tournament for sure. He will retire from the national team. Until then they will give him the chance so would I. It is his presence which can change a game.

  2. When our FA sacked Fernando Santos and hired Martinez, I was really excited since he is known for using young players. I am feed up with Ronaldo, I thought he retired after Qatar. We have some very exiting young players but if we keep using Ronaldo as the main man we not gonna win anything.

  3. IMAGINE IF USA MEDIA SAID SOMETHING IN FAVOR OF RONALDO LOL …. BIASED LIARS. SHAME ON YOU GUYS…. LOOK AT WHAT RONALDO HAS DONE IN ONE YEAR…. TO A WHOLE LEAGUE. AND MESSI COULDNT , AND MLS HAS HAD MANY STARS FOR MORE THAN A DECADE PLAY THERE…. BUT IN ONE YEAR, SAUDI LEAGUE HAS OVER TAKEN THE MLS. SO JUST STOP LOL.

  4. messi is natural.. He studies the game and play smart. even with age, he will be a playmaker. Cr7 is a trained dog. Was always a great finisher. now that hes old he cant perform the same

  5. Are we ignoring the play where Ronaldo dribbled past 2 or 3 players in that same game? Or right in the beginning, where he recovered the ball for Bruno, dragged 2 defenders and Bruno had a clear shot on target, and fumbled it? Or that he is still a threat in the air? Or that he is still good at link up play? Or that of all the plays he took part in, you can only use the argument of "slowing play" once, which was in a 2 vs 4 counter and he was dispossessed by a player who ran from behind. He technicaly missed two big chances, that one he missed the ball and then hit the GK, where most likely the defender threw him off, and that one shot from the right where the keeper did his job.

Sure, he didn't have the best of performances, but the amount of criticism he got is a stretch. After all, this is the player with the most amount of minutes this season, with 949 prior to the game against Slovakia, with everyone else except Ruben Neves (who didn't play) having around half or less minutes on their legs. Comparing with the WC is also moronic, when Gonçalo Ramos played against Morocco and also didn't do anything, with the team looking more dangerous after Ronaldo was subbed on.

  6. I truly believe that Ronaldo not only wants to play at new years Euro’s, but also be a part of the 2026 World Cup squad. It burns him that Messi won the World Cup last year. So if there is any way he could play a role for Portugal in 2026, to hopefully win the World Cup. He will do anything for be there.

  7. 🇿🇦🇿🇦 He deserve to decline. He ran a lot. If i wanna compare the distance i can say he ran a distance of Africa to Europe by foot 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🇿🇦🇿🇦

  8. The problem is not Ronaldo, it’s Ronaldo fans. They hype his goals at Saudi league as if he’s prime time playing in UCL. The truth is yes he is in decline, and for a good reason, he’s old. Messi is no better, he went to MLS to retire. You can compare the two all you want, World cup is the breaking point to me, but you can’t compare apples to oranges, they played in different teams with different teammates, both great at different skills. Stop with “Pain went through bla bla”, Stop with who followed who one rejected man bla bla bla. Live in the present, appreciate what’s past. And oh yea, get a life …

  9. These biased and corrupt MF punks, lead by James Pitaro are going to have such a surprise soon! They love rats like Bruno Fernandes because these ESPN MFs are all rats. BTW, what do you MFs care about the Portuguese ? Focus on your countries you corrupt and biased garbage.

  10. Per Transparency International, out of 180 countries, Venezuela ( the home of Alex Moreno) is in 177th place in corruption(180 being the worst), Barcelona through the Negreira case is the most corrupt club in the world and Argentina is 98th . Basically, all these corrupt and biased garbage giving advice come from countries/ clubs where corruption is a way of life. These biased and corrupt garbage are paid by the Messi group, Fifa, Coca Cola to constantly downgrade CR7, but we are not going to forget.

  11. ESPN FC, UK and Deportes, most of you have been creating hate for CR7 for a very long time. We don't believe in physically hurting people because that is pure downright stupidity, but our group believes in justice and justice is going to happen.

  12. This is the problem. This is what keeps this "rivalry" going. Always one sided anyway. When you sit and say that Ronaldo is on a decline, unlike Messi… you are totally forgetting that ronaldo from the age 34 35 36 37 was not a decline. He played amazing at Juventus and continued to play well again Man U. No one ever wants to talk about the ghost that Messi was in PSG because journalists and media protected him by saying he just did not fit well there. He then at 36 goes to MLS and is praised for his performance…. in the MLS!!

  13. The discussion about who is the best was just silly since the start. Ronaldo is an amazing athlete, scored alot of goals, he has that obession with the goal bc of his ego which many times even helped the team out, but as a pure "football player" there will never be any comparison possible. One is a genius in everything he does, Ronaldo can barely control a ball lol. In terms of technique it's comparing the most elite player with an amateur. That being said, he can still help his teams or country out coming out at the end of games when they need a scorer. But at this point he's just destroying team chemistry.

  14. What a load of rubbish from ESPN pundits. The guy is top scorer in his domestic league is playing some great football with the likes of sadio mane. Saying he is in a consistent decline is absolute madness.

  15. ESPN get a brain, you guys hate on this guy every chance you get. He’s a GOAT. Have some shame. Dude literally has over 30 goals club and country this year. What are y’all smoking???

  16. ESPN just clearly showed the world how the hate Ronaldo. But guess what, he’s going no where. He will be back and will score goals as usual. There’s nothing you guys can do about that.

  17. The way espn fc talks against Ronaldo its as if, if he did win the world cup or any tournament they will be mad. He won the Saudi cup they kept quite and send just a message. Now that's anti Ronaldo espn network and Espn fc Messi network.

  18. The crypto market is on the rise, with big names like Bitcoin and Ethereum growing a lot. But the market's ups and downs are making some investors, even the tough ones, feel stressed. In times like these, advice from experts like Jason Graystone fx can really help. Using is plan, I've been able to grow my portfolios quickly, with gains of over 15Btc. As always, doing your homework and making smart choices are important in this risky market, and Jason. is the guide you need for success.

  19. Ronaldo's biggest mistake in his life was going back to Man Utd to play under Glazer ownership and the chaos and amateur way of running a football club that they do. He wasted precious time on absolutely nothing going to that club.

  20. I've said this many times, Ronaldo set the bar so high that even at his current age they expect him to still play like he is still at Real Madrid.
When you look at it, he's probably still better than 90-95% of today's strikers

  21. Ronaldo's fans are his problems, they do not want to admit that the man is finally finished.

Forget all those tap in and penalty goals you see in Saudi those are friendly games went it comes to the prime time he would be lost.

That's why today Portugal beat Luxembourg 9-0 and the guy used as his replacement scored 4 without pens .

Until Portugal learns this they'll never win the world cup
