  1. This video has left out many crucial details – CR7's 2014 injury which affected his knee and was diagnosed as Tendinosis; an injury which required rest for months but he chose to play the WC anyway – and the reason why his dribbling drastically reduced for a couple of years. An injury which has no definite cure either.
CR7's rejuvenation at Juve when he started dribbling again for fun especially in his 2nd season.
CR7's international achievements and how he carried Portugal to their only two titles in history.
The reason WHY CR7 gave that interview with Piers Morgan and how his personal life was totally ignored by the manager, pundits, and fans alike – to put all the blame on him when the team had been shit for a while before he joined and yet today after he's left.

  2. Also, to dub him as a "poacher" is ridiculous. Although he has played further up the pitch in his recent years, he's never been a stagnant player who stays in the box all the time. Infact, when put in that role, he's often isolated and doesn't perform well. His lethal off the ball movements and involvement in buildup has been ignored by so many people, and even today if you watch his games and heat maps, you'll see he's all over the pitch. A poacher would be someone like Haaland who goes goal less if man marked and not fed the ball. He's not involved in buildups often and Pep has had to design his system to hide that weakness.

  3. I would say his peak was in 2014, he was joint topscorer for the golden boot, 17 goals in 11 in the UEFA Champions League (the most ever in the history of the Champions League), won the Champions League itself, won the Ballon D'or and UEFA POTY boasting great number to show despite his injury. Although his disastrous FIFA World Cup performances, I believe he made up for it everywhere else, LaLiga, Champions League, you name it, he did it. Doing this while carrying tendonitis is exceptional.

  4. Isnt CR7 still in his prime? Banged in 40+ goals and year 2023 is still not over yet. Where are 99% of professional footballers at 38 years old?
